Hello! I’m Deann Lindsay and I’m so excited you are taking steps to take care of yourself. After all we are our most important asset in this life. I am honored to support you in exploring ways to grow through a collaborative therapeutic approach. I have 27 years of experience working with individuals from birth to seniors with a recent history of providing crisis based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to adolescents and their families. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Social Work. I received my Master of Social Work from Edinboro University in 2017.

My areas of specialty include relationship and parenting issues, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, domestic violence, grief/loss, family conflict, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions and self-harm behavior.  My counseling methods include an eclectic approach using a variety of modalities which include CBT, trauma-focused CBT, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and others.
