Dr. Taren Coley is an adult and child & adolescent psychiatrist with a passion for helping young people navigate life’s challenges. With a focus on personalized care, Dr. Coley works closely with each client to understand their unique story, using thorough assessments to develop treatment plans that fit their individual needs. She believes in the power of collaboration, working alongside families, therapists, and other healthcare providers to create a supportive network for her clients.
After earning her medical degree from East Carolina University, Dr. Coley went on to complete both her psychiatry residency and a specialized fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board-certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry and holds memberships in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Coley’s approach to care is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a commitment to making mental health care more accessible. She has worked with children and young adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns, and she is passionate about offering them the tools they need to thrive.
