Hello! I am Kelly Johnson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in depressive and anxiety disorders. Much of my experience comes from working with primary care offices to address mental health as a vital component of overall well-being. My goal is to look at the whole person – mentally, physically, relationally, spiritually – to reach one’s best self. I am passionate about helping people find hope when they feel hopeless and to feel heard and understood. Life adjustments, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, stress, and other issues will affect each of us, and I believe we are not meant to walk through those times alone. I take a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, helping each person identify his or her goals, by working together for sustainable change and growth.

A little about me – I graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in Psychology in 2014 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2017. I love doing anything outdoors and spending time with my husband and our dog. I feel truly blessed to make my passion for helping others and for social justice a career.

I understand the decision to pursue therapy can be difficult. My promise is to provide a safe environment of empathy and understanding. I am thrilled you are taking this important step to take care of yourself and would be honored to work alongside you. I look forward to hearing from you!

We offer a 100% risk-free initial consultation, so the first step into therapy is the simplest. Call Restoration Counseling Center today at 704-502-9397 or email admin@restorationcounselingclt.com to book an appointment with me and let’s get started. I look forward to working with you!
