Melissa Goettl, LMFT

My name is Melissa Goettl. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in North and South Carolina. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families; helping them achieve their unique therapeutic goals and living the best version of their life. I believe therapy is a great opportunity to develop personal insight and confidence and impact the development of meaningful relationships. 

Most of my experience has been working in outpatient settings, in which I worked with clients to achieve unique goals and personal growth.  I have also worked in rehabilitation and trauma settings, in which I worked with patients dealing with trauma, crisis, and grief. 

I work in an empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative manner using a variety of therapeutic techniques and practices to help identify the best fit for my clients. As your therapist, my goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, as we work to identify and achieve your goals. I believe you are the expert of your life, and as a facilitator, I hold space for you and help you gain insight. Together we can learn about your strengths and challenges, and embrace the uniqueness of your life.
